![]() The stereo imaging is almost holographic. Better bass also, MC56 feels more extended / deeper in lows than any other version of MC. MC56: Even more clarity and purity than MC55, and finally also bit less presence / less emphasis on highs. ![]() It doesn't soudn harsher, but more open instead. It still doesn't feel excessive for some reason. MC55: Even more presence than MC54, but also such an incredible increase in clarity and purity I don't mind. Also, there is an increase in loudness, but I think this is actually just an increase of perceived volume due to more bass and presence, not an actual compression. My speakers have naturally plenty of bass and air so it might be that. MC54: This one have more presence and bass than MC53, but is is also clearer and more pure! Wow! The highs and lows might me increased too much, I'm not sure. Damn, MC51 actually sounds boring after listening to MC53. All this is done with just a very small reduction of clarity and purity of 51. No other version of MC has done that so far. ![]() ![]() The kicks are hitting me like I'm standing in front of a perfectly tuned DW kick drum. MC53: More exciting than 51, with more presence, but in a good way, and with MUCH better bass and sub bass. Reminds me of MC47, but harsher, with worse stereo imaging. MC52: Lacks the clarity and purity of MC51, emphasised presence.
